A landmark property located in Orlando, The Hyatt Grand Cypress represents one of eight properties included in a portfolio of assets owned in partnership with an international hotel ownership company since December 2004. This 1,500-acre resort complex holds significant operational upside, as well as a tremendous opportunity for development. CHM was retained in late 2005 to jointly asset manage the property with Kyo-ya Company and devise a strategy to identify physically possible, legally permissible and financially viable development options and to select the program that would generate the highest return, given ownership’s investment parameters. The resort complex features the 750-room Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, 48 Mediterranean-style villas (Villas of Grand Cypress) containing 146 guest rooms, a 14,000 square foot Executive Conference Center, 45-holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, a golf academy and clubhouse, world-class racquet club, an equestrian center, nature area and fitness trails.

The Villas of Grand Cypress Resort is part of a unique collection of properties, collectively referred to as Kyo-ya Hotels, extending from Florida to Hawaii and representing both urban and destination resort destinations.
